Follow these steps to prepare your environment for running OpenSeesPy code on Mecsimcalc:

These versions work as of March 1, 2024

1. Python Version: Make sure to use Python 3.10

2. OpenSeesPy Installation:

   • Install the openseespy and openseespylinux packages.
   • Use version 3.4.0.5 for both. Other versions might not work

3. Additional Python Packages:

   • Install any other Python packages you require.

Version numbers for these packages are optional; Mecsimcalc will choose suitable versions for you.

4. Environment Setup:
   • Once all packages are installed, your environment is ready to build.
